Adirondack Resource Recovery Project

Frank Lill & Son, Inc. held a major mechanical contract on this project consisting of two refuse burning (400 Ton Refuse Daily) Foster Wheeler boilers with main steam of 910 PSI at 750 degrees. We performed balance of plant recovery work consisting of all power plant piping, miscellaneous support equipment, conveyors, instrumentation, etc., to complete the waste to energy facility. Setting and piping an Elliot 20 MW Steam Turbine as well as setting of all related mechanical pumps and equipment for plant utilities also fell under our contract. Along with this, our scope also included steel erection for the cooling water pump house and pollution control building, as well as all conveyors for ash treatment and removal.
