Frank Lill & Son, Inc. was awarded the contract to convert and upgrade (4) coal-fired boilers to gas & oil fired. The project required extensive demolition of an existing coal building and ash handling facilities, as well as boiler alterations to accommodate the conversion. New DCS controls system, burner, fuel oil unloading & storage were all part of this major project on Long Island.
